FREE HOME ENERGY savings
The Chicago Bungalow Association in partnership with ComEd, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas, provide customers with free home energy services and improvements.
The program offers a free Home Energy Savings assessment for your home to identify ways to help manage energy use that may include free and discounted energy saving products. Weatherization improvements may be available to certain, eligible customers. Qualifying customers must meet additional criteria, including but not limited to household income eligibility requirements.

Located within ComEd service territory

Home has not been previously weatherized through the Energy Savers or Home Energy Savings Program

Household income of 80% Area Median Income (AMI) or lower is required

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Apply and Schedule—It’s easy! Just complete the simple online application (consisting of two forms).

Home Assessment—Once you've applied and schedule an in-home assessment, during your appointment an Energy Advisor will do a walkthrough of your home to determine eligibility according to program qualifications.
HOME ENERGY SAVINGS PROGRAM SERVICES
The program offers a free home energy assessment to identify ways to help manage energy use. The program may include free and discounted energy saving products and the potential for weatherization improvements depending on additional eligibility.
